Jade in Fengshui
Jade is believed through millennia in China to be the stone of protection, empowerment and beauty. It was the stone of choice to create the Jade seal of the emperors and officials, heirlooms and adornment for the rich and powerful. Jade ultimately is regarded as the stone of Wealth and Power.
Though jade is found in China, it is generally Nephrite that was found, Jadeite being a harder stone was found mostly in Myanmar. With the high regards towards Jade, not just in China, but many other cultures as well. It is regarded as a symbol of Wealth and Power and this is what we are going to look at here; the use of Jade in Fengshui for Wealth, Status, Power, Luck, Health and Protection.
Colour
Although the base element of Jade is Earth as it is a stone mineral, the colour of the jade also act as another influence of the element of Jade based on the 5 elements.
For example:
Fire : Red
Water : Black, Blue
Wood : Green
Metal : White
Earth : Yellow, Brown
The selection of the best colour of Jade to wear is dependent on your element constitution based on your Bazi elements. For example, if you are lacking in wood, then green will be the most favourable colour for you. When you wear the right colour for your element, it brings forth an attraction of Luck, Wealth, Health and Prosperity.
Shape
The shape of the jade also plays a part in determining the elemental representation of the jade.
For example:
Fire : Triangular, trapezoid
Water : Irregular flowy shape
Wood : Rectangular
Metal : Round, oval
Earth : squarish, cuboidal
If for example you need more fire element but you don’t like red jade, then you can select a triangular or trapezoid shaped pendant to wear. With your element constitution balanced, the benefit to your luck is immeasurable.

Patron Buddha
Many Buddhist especially Tibetan Buddhism believe that there is a patron Buddha for each of the zodiac. The system is based on the heavenly stem and earthly branch as well as the Tibetan 5 elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. In all, there are a total of 8 Buddhas and Bodhisattvas acting as the patron Buddha of the 12 zodiacs. Wearing the pendants of the Buddhas for respective zodiac, it ensures that you can overcome all obstacles, avert all calamities, safety, health, luck and happiness both at work and in family.

Other shapes and figurines
Many also believe that by wearing pendants bearing deities and have them consecrated, they embodies the spirit of the deities and gods and offer protection to the bearer. Of course, most of them have a strong implication in wealth, be it career wealth, business wealth, investment wealth, windfall wealth and wealth in general.
There are also various other shapes, such as bat, rat, peach etc each with their respective auspicious meaning and connotations. For example, peaches are for longevity and good health, bamboo can help in career progression and studies.
However, one point to note, do make sure that you do a proper cleansing, followed by consecration. This is to ensure that the spirit of the gods, deities, Buddhas are installed so that you are able to fully benefit the protection and blessing of the gods, deities and Buddhas. It also prevents any other malevolent energy or spirits from entering the jade pieces. The other thing is that we can also install certain intentions into the jade so that it is able generate the required effect, be it wealth, luck, benefactor and so on.
