Although the base element of Jade is Earth as it is a stone mineral, the colour of the jade also act as another influence of the element of Jade based on the 5 elements.

For example:

The selection of the best colour of Jade to wear is dependent on your element constitution based on your Bazi elements. For example, if you are lacking in wood, then green will be the most favourable colour for you. When you wear the right colour for your element, it brings forth an attraction of Luck, Wealth, Health and Prosperity.

The shape of the jade also plays a part in determining the elemental representation of the jade.

Fire        : Triangular, trapezoid
